Primary Room Assistant and Aftercare Teacher

Vanessa Torrez joined us in August of 2022. She has been a great help in any classroom she's needed! In July of 2023, Vanessa moved from the Toddler Room assistant to full time in the primary classroom. Our older kids are so glad to have her!

Samantha Torres joined us in February of 2022. She has worked in both the Infant and Toddler environments; Sam does wonderfully with our littlest friends!

Anali Aragon is our newest addition to the Infant Room. She does a great job with our babies!

Infant Room Lead Teacher

Alejandra Luevano started in March of 2019 and has been a staple in the Infant Classroom ever since. It takes a very specific and special kind of person to be with babies full time, and Alejandra does amazing!

Assistant Director, Lead Toddler Teacher, Media Manager

Melissa Marquez came to Los Niños in December of 2014. She has spent time working in every classroom, and became Lead Toddler Teacher in January of 2020. She does her best to create an environment of mutual care and learning.

Owner, Director, Lead Primary Teacher

Our fearless leader, Susan Florsheim, started as an assistant teacher in January of 2007. She has also spent time working in every classroom, and became director in 2010. In June of 2013, Susan bought the school from its previous owners. Susan takes great care of all of Los Niños, from families to staff, children to animals. We couldn't ask for a better owner/director!
